Nanaw went to visit Chase early Sunday morning before she went out to Aspenhof. They sat in the living room, playing with his toys and watching TV. First, they watched a lot of SpongeBob, which is Chase’s newest favorite program. Then they watched Peppa Pig, one of Chase’s all-time favorites. Mama took Sam for a walk, and Nanaw said she’d wait to leave till Mama returned. When Mama got back from the walk, she started baking the bundt cake for the 4^th of July celebration at Uncle Chris’s house on Sunday afternoon. It was a red, white and blue cake with red, white and blue icing. Chase was very excited to see all the colors, and he helped Mama put the food coloring in the cake mix. Daddy and Chase got to lick the cake batter bowls, something they really like to do. Mama sent Nanaw a picture of the finished cake, and it was very pretty and festive.
