Chase started out the day in his usual way -- at least usual lately. After Mama left for work, Chase went to his room and turned on his television. He seems to want to play in his room and watch TV in there. Nanaw and Chase had breakfast together in his room, then Nanaw worked with HTC on getting her email fixed. Next Chase and Nanaw got ready to go to Powder Valley. It had rained a little in the morning on the way to Powder Valley, and Chase hoped to use the new umbrella Nanaw bought for him at Warrenton Walmart Sunday, but the rain had stopped by the time they got to Powder Valley. They walked on the trail first, before going in to look at the displays. Inside, they visited the frogs and the turtles. Chase was excited to see the huge turtles swimming around in their aquariums. The Powder Valley staff had just cleaned the aquariums and fed the turtles, and the turtles were much more active than usual. Chase played hide and seek downstairs by beaver display, calling it his hiding place. Chase had a nice, long nap today -- that helps keep him in a good mood.
