Thursday's adventure was a trip for Walmart for grocery shopping while the cleaning lady came. Chase was exceptionally well-behaved at Walmart, which made Nanaw happy. Because Chase was so good and because Nanaw loves him so much and because of the toys in the Happy Meals, she took him to McDonald's for lunch. He got another Norman the hamster in his Happy Meal but was fine with the duplication. He now has a Duke the dog and two Normans. Chase definitely wants to go see "The Secret Life of Pets" movie. He says he also wants to see the new Ice Age movie; Daddy told Chase he had to see the first two Ice Age moves before he sees the third one. At the end of the day, Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky and their friend Toad from UMSL came over to look at Nanaw's deck and the leak in the living room. The good news is that the leak is a small one in the siding covering the fireplace chimney, and Uncle Mike can fix the leak and repaint the wall. The bad news is that Nanaw has to have two new decks built on the back of the house. Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky and Toad are going to build the decks.
