Daddy played golf on Sunday so Chase and Mama spent the day together, having various adventures. One of their adventures was going to the big park by the Columbia high school. Mama went down Temple instead of the way Nanaw goes, and Chase asked where they were going and told Mama it wasn't the right way. It's really cute how Chase pays attention to where the car is going and remembers the routes to his many destinations. Mama was surprised to see the big sand table at the park -- she hadn't noticed it at her previous visits. Chase and Mama also went shopping at Walmart where Mama bought several "specials" for Chase -- what he calls "mini winebags" -- they're really mini blind bags, which means the toys inside are a surprise. She got Dory toys and Thomas toys. For lunch, Mama and Chase went to McDonald's (of course), and they each got Happy Meals that had a Mel inside (a pug from "Secret Life of Pets"). In the evening Nanaw came over to visit, and she got to see all of Chase's new toys -- he was very excited about them. They played abcmouse on the iPad for awhile.
