When Nanaw went to visit Chase on Saturday morning, Daddy was at the eye doctor, and Mama had Nanaw stay with Chase while she went to the grocery store. Nanaw brought along a stack of children's Christmas books from when Mama and Uncle Mike were little. Nanaw read several of the books to Chase, including Frosty the Snowman, The Most Beautiful Christmas Tree, and Merry Christmas. Nanaw and Chase played at the kitchen table with a bunny game that he has. They also played with his plastic frogs and his blue slime/goo. Nanaw promised to buy plastic frogs blue slime/goo at Dollar Tree to keep at Nanaw's house. In the evening, Chase went to the Blues hockey game with Mama, Daddy, and Uncle Will-Bill. Mama posted a selfie of her and Chase on Facebook -- very cute. Nanaw bought Mama an early birthday present -- a molded penguin that's an outdoor Christmas decoration from Handyman Hardware. Nanaw also delivered it to Mama's house so she would see it when she got home from the hockey game.
