It was really cold outside on Wednesday morning, so Nanaw warmed up her car before she took Chase to school -- she also bundled him up. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he got one of his mittens out of his locker and showed Nanaw that one of them had a hole in the thumb. Then he asked Nanaw to sew it -- which was the cutest thing in the world. On the way home, they stopped at the cemetery (where Nanaw went overboard with Christmas decorations), then went to Handyman Hardware for Chase to see the Christmas display. The Bumble monster wasn't there (someone must have bought it) and Nanaw told Chase that Bumble had a wonderful new home now. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road library and Chase played in the children's area while Nanaw checked out books. Mama and Daddy came to pick Chase up to go see Santa at the mall. Mama sent Nanaw a picture of Chase on Santa's lap and said that this time Chase asked Santa for Play dough town.
