Chase had two major adventures on Thursday. Mama had the day off so she could go shopping with Chase and Nanaw -- that was one of the adventures. The other adventure for Chase was going to Story Time with Miss Candy at the Columbia Library. There were two little "grils" there, sisters named Gwen (who is 3) and Amelia (who is 10 months). Miss Candy read two books about the ocean and fish to the children. The craft was an edible one: a graham cracker with blue icing, green sprinkles and multi-colored goldfish crackers. Chase was wonderful at Story Time, very well-behaved and participatory. Nanaw was amazed at how much he talked to Miss Candy and how he knew so many of the fish in the books -- very impressive. The shopping trip with Mama, Chase, and Nanaw was absolutely wonderful. Chase behaved so well, and Mama and Nanaw had lots of fun. They went lots of places and bought lots of thing. They went to Gravois Bluffs, and Nanaw bought a fun present for Uncle Mike. They also went to Target, a sports store, Celebrate the Season for Christmas decorations and Walmart. Chase got a Ninja Turtle ornament, a sparkly Santa nutcracker, a Ninja Turtle hoodie, and a Ninja Turtle toy with a mask and a sword.
