Mama had the day off from work so she took Chase to school. There was a winter storm warning so Nanaw told Mama she would call later in the afternoon to see whether she and Chase would be able to go to the Magic House as planned. The Magic House has a new display for them to see called Splash and Bubbles. But the snow had started and was accumulating so Nanaw called Mama and said it as a no-go for Magic House but she would come visit Chase when he got home from school. The roads were bad, and Nanaw fishtailed a little when she turned on to Rueck Road. Chase was playing hockey in the living room when Nanaw got to his house, and Nanaw watched him play for awhile. Then Mama, Chase and Nanaw played two games of Weather bingo, which was great fun. Nanaw made sure each of them had a card with snow on it. In the evening, Mama sent Nanaw a text at Chase's request. He wanted to send a tornado emoji to Nanaw. Then he took Mama's phone away from her and added a penguin to the text -- very funny. His soccer game tomorrow was cancelled.
