Daddy had the day off on Monday, and he took Chase to school. Mama sent Nanaw a picture of her desk decorated in black for her 50th birthday tomorrow. Nanaw got to pick him up after school and spend a couple of hours with him. On the way home, they had to make an emergency stop at Chase's house so he could go to the bathroom -- Daddy thought it was very funny to see this little person running into the house and into the bathroom. After leaving Chase's house, Chase and Nanaw went to the cemetery and then to Dollar Tree on Telegraph Road. They bought birthday cards, gift bags and a present from Chase for Mama -- he picked out Mama's birthday card and birthday present all by himself. He also got two silly putties, a light-up rubber animal, gold medals for a tournament with Daddy in the evening, and some blue paint. Next, they went to the Walgreen's farther down Telegraph Road to look for Jack Skellington things for Mama but they only had two Santa hats that are too small for Mama. Back at Nanaw's house, Chase signed Mama's birthday card with Love, Chase. It was so cute -- he even included the comma. Then he played ROBLOX on the laptop.
