After Mama brought Chase to Nanaw's house on Thursday morning, he fell asleep on the couch and slept for quite awhile. When he awoke, he played on the computer, and then Chase and Nanaw set off on a morning of errands and adventures. They went to the bank where Chase got his usual sucker. Next, they went to the little Dollar Tree looking for golf clubs but they didn't have any. Next, came the cemetery, and then Walmart. Next, they got gas, then went to the big Dollar Tree on Telegraph Road. They didn't have golf clubs either so Nanaw guesses that unfortunately they'll have to wait till spring to replenish Chase's supply of golf clubs. Next, they stopped at the library to return one of Mama's books. When they got home, Chase had pepperoni and mozzarella cheese and peas for lunch. When he finished lunch, Nanaw gave Chase the Cheetos Puffs she bought for him at Walmart. Then Chase played with the computer again and also hockey with his one remaining golf club in the hallway. In the afternoon, Nanaw took the ornaments off her Christmas tree because Uncle Mike and cousin Joe were coming over to take down the outside lights and the lights off the Christmas tree. Nanaw brought up her fiber optic tree from downstairs to replace her Christmas tree and didn't take down her other decorations yet; she's going to leave those up until Wednesday of next week; she'll take them down before the cleaning lady comes on Thursday.
