Happy 50th Birthday, Mama! Tuesday, January 8, 2019

Mama texted Nanaw on Tuesday morning that Chase woke hot and crying so he stayed home from school. Mama gave him Pedialyte and Tylenol and by 8:30, she said he felt better. Mama and Daddy were supposed to go to lunch with Nanaw but Daddy said he'd stay home with Chase. After lunch, Mama and Daddy went to Helping Strays to put in an application for a dog. They're going to get a buddy for Sam. They looked at several dogs there but haven't found the right friend for Sam yet. Chase and Nanaw played on his bed with his stuffed "amamals" and then they sat on the love seat with Chase playing on his tablet and Nanaw playing on her phone. In the evening, Mama, Daddy Chase, Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky and Nanaw went to Joe Boccardi's for dinner. Chase had spaghetti and Nanaw had fettuccine al fredo. Mama's birthday cake was cherry chip with cherry chocolate chunk ice cream.
