Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw had a fun adventure on Monday. Mama and Daddy were off work, and Chase had the day off from school for Martin Luther King holiday. At 3 o'clock, Mama, Daddy and Chase came over to Nanaw's house. The plan was for Daddy to put together Chase's Hot Wheels toys: the Ultimate Speedway, the Corkscrew, and the Hot Wheels Motorized Loop and Jump (new this past Christmas). The plan was for Daddy to put the toys together downstairs, and then Mama and Nanaw would go to Kentucky Fried Chicken to get dinner. Chase went downstairs while Daddy was working and played with the little workbench that Uncle Doug gave him. He also played with his Thomas trains and watched Chase TV. Mama and Nanaw sat in the living room watching Hallmark movies, even ones they'd already seen. When Daddy was done, Mama and Nanaw went downstairs for a demonstration of all the toys, and it was quite impressive. Then Daddy and Chase played hockey while Mama and Nanaw went to KFC. Dinner was delicious!
