Nanaw’s alarm didn’t go off this morning (she later discovered the radio volume was turned down, probably accidentally by the cleaning lady when she dusted) so Nanaw had to race over to Chase’s to pick him up before Mama started working from home. Chase and Nanaw went to Laptime at the Clayton library and chase seemed to have hhis usual wonderful time. It looked like he was paying more attention to the other children, playing with them and following them around. After Laptime, Chase and Nanaw walked up to Taylor Park but didn’t stay long because it was very hot outside. When Chase woke up from his nap, he had last night’s spaghetti for lunch, then played out on Nanaw’s back deck. Later in the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road library to pick up a book, and Chase was fascinated with watching the woodchippers on the library parking lot.
