Chase was scheduled for a great adventure today, visiting Mama at Wells. But he was running a slight fever in the morning, and Mama thought it would be best to postpone Chase’s visit. When Nanaw picked Chase up, he was quiet and subdued, and Daddy said Chase had been sitting quietly on his lap for awhile – which is totally not like the rambunctious Chase we know and love. Later in the morning, Chase seemed better and he and Nanaw went to Walmart and for a walk. He took a long, three-house nap, and when he woke up, he was his regular active self. Nanaw was cleaning out the closet in Chase’s room and he got to run around the house, which he seems to love to do. When Chase got home, Uncle Mike was there. He’d come to deliver Mama’s sunflower plant and to eat some of Mama’s homemade chocolate ice cream. Chase performed for Uncle Mike, saying his long "Hiiiiii" and dancing to the music from the magnetic farm on the refrigerator.
