First thing in the morning, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart looking for Elmo toys. They found two Elmo books (one that plays music) and a stuffed Elmo – all very cute. When Chase sees Elmo, he says "MaMa" but Nanaw pretends that he’s saying "MoMo." After the Walmart trip, Chase and Nanaw went to Babygarten at the Columbia library. The program was led by Miss Annette and six other children were there. After songs and stories, Chase did his usual running around thing. He also got to push the buttons on the elevator, which he seemed to like. Aunt Becca came to Chase’s house for dinner, and Chase had two extended play times outside – his current favorite thing to do. Nanaw started a major list of all the words that Chase can say and the things that he can do – the list keeps getting longer as Mama and Nanaw think of more things that Chase does.
