Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk, and then after breakfast, they went to the Clayton Laptime with Miss Jeannie. Chase wore his Chris Carpenter baseball jersey and looked really cute. Today he did a great job of paying attention and participating during the story and song part of Laptime. As usual, he got excited when Miss Jeannie got out the toys for playtime. Chase and the other boys and girls converged on Miss Jeannie and the boxes of toys and books and blocks. After Chase’s nap, he and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road library to pick up the Scout reading DVD Nanaw had requested, plus two Nora Roberts books for Mama. Chase watched the DVD twice (in his "stadium seating" high chair). It was amazing to Nanaw how closely he paid attention and how much he seemed to enjoy watching the DVD. So Nanaw bought the DVD from Amazon, along with another Merry Okee so Chase can have one at Nanaw’s house. Tonight Mama was going out to dinner with her friend Vinny so Daddy and Chase were having a father-son adventure with Dairy Queen for dinner.
