After an early morning walk and breakfast, Chase and Nanaw went to Suson Park again, to see the animals and this time to go to the playground. The weather had cooled off and was better for their visit than earlier in the week. Before going to the playground, Chase and Nanaw visited the animals. Chase got to see the ducks and say "quack-quack" to them. He reached out to the sheep lying next to the fence, and Nanaw thinks Chase wanted to pet the sheep. They also got to see the baby goats – there were four baby goats¸ two more than the two babies they saw on Monday. Chase seemed to have a grand time on the playground. He went on the slide several times and on the swing. He ran around the perimeter of the playground, with Nanaw running behind him, trying to keep up. At one point, one of the mothers on the playground backed into Chase and scared him. He put on his pouty face and began to cry. Then he got mad and tensed his shoulders and made fists of his hands and began to yell – it sort of sounded like he was swearing at her. Chase finally calmed down, and the lady and Nanaw both laughed about it. In the evening, Mama, Daddy and Chase had McDonald’s for dinner, and evidently Chase ate lots of "fry-frys."
