Mama had the day off on Friday so she and Nanaw both took Chase to school and both picked him up. Their first adventure was going to lunch at Chick Fil A on Manchester. Chick Fil A has a play area like McDonald's, and Chase was very excited to play there. When it was time to leave, he didn't want to, even when Nanaw and Mama told him they were going to the big new park -- Des Peres Park -- to play on the little playground and the big playground. It was Mama's first visit to Des Peres Park, and she was very impressed with the playgrounds. Mama and Nanaw went on the walkway with Chase, and he was happy about that. Mama took pictures of Chase with Nanaw, and Nanaw took pictures of Mama with Chase. Mama posted them on Facebook in a collage, and it was very cute.
Mama and Daddy went to Daddy's work party on Friday evening, and Nanaw was excited to get to babysit with Chase.
