Chase was happy to see his friend Alena at school on Wednesday. She wasn't there Monday because she was sick. When Chase got out of school, he came running to Nanaw with a big smile on his face and gave her a huge hug -- you can imagine how happy that made Nanaw. Chase and Nanaw's adventure for the day was a visit to Powder Valley. It's been a couple of weeks since their last visit, and Chase was happy to see all his favorite displays. When they were leaving Powder Valley, Nanaw told Chase that Mama and Daddy were taking him to visit Santa Claus tonight. Chase asked, "At the North Pole?" Very funny. Nanaw tried to get Chase to take a nap but he spent an hour sitting in his bed talking, singing, playing with his stuffed animals and generally not sleeping. So Nanaw got him up, and they played with his trains together.
