Saturday was Uncle Mike's and Aunt Becky's Christmas party. Nanaw drove separately because she was taking Chase home to spend the night with her. Mama and Daddy were planning to go to Aunt Theresa's graduation party. Chase was delighted with Uncle Mike's outdoor Christmas decorations, using a Grinch theme. One of Uncle Mike's nicknames was the Spotted Grinch, courtesy of Pawpaw, so his decorations are appropriate. Unfortunately, Chase had a cold and a fever so he wasn't feeling his usual wonderful self. He played with the little girl Emily who always comes to the parties and had lots of fun with her. He spent a lot of time on the sofa watching the new app Nanaw installed on her iPad -- YouTube for Kids -- that Daddy told her about. When Chase and Nanaw got back to Nanaw's house, Chase was very tired. Nanaw put him in his pajamas, and he wanted Nanaw to move a sticker he had on his shirt to his pajamas so she did. For the first time ever, at 8:40, Chase said he wanted to go to bed. Nanaw gave him some Tylenol for his fever and put him to bed. At the end of the party, all of Uncle Mike's and Aunt Becky's family, including Cheyenne, got together for a family photo that Kristie posted on Facebook.
