Chase wore his new Minion pajamas over to Nanaw's house. Mama and Nanaw call them "little old man pajamas." Chase has a pair of Thomas pajamas like them but he's outgrowing them. He brought along his six new "Cars" vehicles -- unfortunately one of them, the little yellow car, is now missing. Nanaw will keep looking for it. Today's adventures included: a trip to the bank where Chase got a sucker and a trip to Dollar Tree where Chase got another super hero. The main adventure was a reconnaissance drive out to St. Charles to the church where they're going tomorrow. Chase and Nanaw are going to cousin Rosemary's 90th birthday party. Daddy says when Nanaw brought Chase home, he went into the living room and kissed his workbench -- Nanaw wishes she could have seen that. In the evening, Mama sent Nanaw a photo of a birdhouse project that Daddy and Chase built from Chase's new workbench. (It has all kinds of things to build and rebuild.) Daddy put one of the Cardinal bird ornaments in the bird house -- very cute.
