On the way into school, Chase showed Nanaw where they released the butterflies before lunch yesterday -- in the grassy area next to where Mrs. Herrmann's classroom is. He was very excited about it. Nanaw spent most of the day trying to fix her dead iPad. She doesn't know what happened but she had to do the restore thing. That means everything is wiped out, and you have to start from scratch. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he was waving a lollipop in the air and told Nanaw he got to be rock star student today. He was so happy about that, and he said, "Finally!" Then he told Nanaw that he saw the teacher walking toward him and that he just knew he was going to get rock student, and he was! Nanaw told Mama about Chase's honor, and she was very happy about it. She didn’t tell Daddy; she wanted Chase to have that honor. On the way home, Chase and Nanaw stopped by the library park. Brady and Emma were there, and Chase had a great time playing with Brady and wasn't happy when it was time to go. Daddy picked Chase up at about 6:30, and he was properly impressed and happy when Chase told him the news about being the rock star student of the day. Mama, Daddy and Chase were having dinner with Uncle Stan and Aunt Becca's at top Shooters.
