Chase and Nanaw tried to go to the Magic House today but it turned out that their summer hours don't start until tomorrow so they were too early. Nanaw decided they could go to the Train House instead. They hadn't been there since Christmas when they went to see the train display. They saw Miss Lynn, and that was very nice. She put their train wristbands on for them. The circus train display was moved to the other side of the display area; there was a new erector set train display that's very cool. Nanaw bought popcorn for both of them and a bag of rocks like they have at the zoo. Chase and Nanaw rode on the train and successfully and corrected the bones. Then they walked up the hill and looked at the cars on display. Then they went and explored the trains. There were two classes doing a field trip at the museum and for some reason, Chase wanted to avoid them. So Chase and Nanaw spent a lot of time avoiding the classes. Chase had finally agreed to ride on the trolley but then refused when one of the classes got on the trolley. When Chase and Nanaw got home, they did lots of school things; Chase read three books; Nanaw taught him about the spaces and lines on musical staffs and they started practicing Up on Housetop. On the computer, Chase typed a list of what he had done during the day. Then he practiced his three tables. It was a very good day, the first of many to come.
