Nanaw took two cute pictures of Chase on Tuesday morning, lying on the couch, cuddling and hugging Fred the flamingo and Tee Tee. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school in the afternoon, he was so excited because he and the rest of the class were all rock star students, and they got Dum Dum suckers from the teacher. Nanaw was excited for him. He reminded Nanaw that she promised him a surprise present if he was a rock star student again. Nanaw said they would have to go to Waterloo Walmart instead of Telegraph Road Walmart because of the bridge being closed. So then Chase said they would wait till the bridge was open so they could go to Telegraph Road Walmart. When they got home, Chase played on the laptop for awhile. Then he played hockey in the hall. When Nanaw went downstairs to walk on the treadmill, Chase brought his stuffed "amamals" downstairs and played hockey with them. He spread them out on the floor, and they were the hockey players. In the evening, Nanaw had to go to a web training meeting at church and had to take the Poplar Street Bridge. It took an hour and 15 minutes and most of that time was spent waiting in line on Route 3. Nanaw thinks that the next time she has to go to Missouri, she'll take the really long way -- 255 to 270.
