On Wednesday morning, when Nanaw picked Chase up at his house, Nanaw told Chase she would have to take him to his house after school because he had a dentist appointment. Chase didn't like that very much because he likes to play Roblox and watch videos on the laptop -- his laptop, he calls it. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he said nothing bad happened. Then he said nobody got star student behavior. He said he sort of thought he might get it because he was very good but nobody got it. Nanaw told him if he got star student one more time before school was out, she would buy him a surprise present, and he liked that. Chase was talking about how when school is out, he and Nanaw will play school: upstairs for computer lab, and downstairs for music and arts and crafts and other stuff. Nanaw said when they go places like the Magic House and the Science Center, they'll call them field trips. Nanaw told Mama that she wants to start taking Chase's school papers home with her so she and Chase can practice with them. The first picture below is one that Nanaw took of Emma and her toy unicorn while waiting to pick Chase up from school. At Chase's house after school, Chase and Nanaw played hockey downstairs while Mama finished working before Chase's dentist appointment.
