Mama worked from home on Wednesday so Nanaw went to pick Chase up. After she took Chase to school, Nanaw decided to make a trip to Missouri but not the Poplar Street Bridge way. She took 255 to 40 and went that way. It was much better; she didn't get stuck in traffic. Nanaw went to the Manchester Schnuck's for cottage cheese, then to the gas station, then to the library and finally to the cemetery. It was a very productive trip. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he was carrying a beautiful container of marigolds. Nanaw thought they were for Mama but Chase said, no, they were for her because of her volunteering with the class. That made Nanaw so happy. Chase also had a card for her in his backpack, signed by all the boys and girls in Chase's class. Nanaw put the flowers outside with her other flowers. Chase and Brady were so excited about having their first baseball game of the season but the game was cancelled because the field was too wet from the rainstorm last night.
