Mama brought Chase over to Nanaw's house on Saturday morning while she went to the grocery store. She told Nanaw all about last night's birthday party for Hunter and Mason. Mason invited a girl who is a friend of his, plus two of his teachers from the Columbia school. The boys went fishing and had a great time. That's the first picture below. They had burgers and hot dogs to eat, and played on a humongous bounce house. Mama played with Emma and had someone take a picture of the two of them. That's the second picture below. At Nanaw's house, Chase and Nanaw took his guys and Nanaw's guys into Chase's room. Chase played with Nanaw's phone, and Nanaw played with her iPad. When Mama came to pick up Chase, she asked how Nanaw's way of getting Chase to listen was working. (Nanaw emailed her about it last night, excerpting some of what she wrote on Days of Chase.) Nanaw told Mama that it's working wonderfully. Nanaw hopes Mama will try it. Mama said Daddy and Chase were going to play out outside when Chase got home. Next Saturday morning, Nanaw gets to take Chase with her to the little house to pick up hang tags. Mama invited Nanaw over for a grilled wings dinner on Sunday night. Mama says Chase doesn't like wings but she's going to work on that.
