Chase stayed home from school again on Tuesday. Mama said he was still coughing badly. When Chase got to Nanaw’s house, he played on the computer for awhile. Then they went downstairs to study for his social studies test on Thursday. He did very well — he knows the capitals of all the states, and he could locate this week’s states on the blank map. After studying for social studies downstairs in the school room, Chase and Nanaw went upstairs to study for Wednesday’s math test. Nanaw created seven very difficult perimeter and area problems for him, and he got them all right. Nanaw tried to take a nap with Chase but neither of them slept. So they got up and watched the end of the Cars 3 movie. In the evening, Chase’s homework included making a robot using grid paper, picking a state and doing research on it. Below are pictures of the homework emails Chase's 3rd grade teacher sent to Mama for Chase. Mama sent pictures of Chase making the robot and a picture of the robot.
