Chase and Nanaw went for a walk first thing in the morning, and then they went on an errand for Nanaw. They drove to Ballwin for Nanaw to do a banking project for the writing group she’s treasurer of. Nanaw packed snacks for Chase to eat during the ride and that made him very excited. At the bank, Chase was very well-behaved and charming. When Chase and Nanaw left the bank, the bank lady offered Chase a cookie. He said "Cookie" and took the cookie off the plate and then said "Thank you." Such a gentleman! After Chase’s nap, he and Nanaw played trains in his room. When Nanaw took Chase home, Mama showed him the "drunk chicken" Daddy was grilling. The chicken was perched on a can of beer with barbecue sauce inside. Daddy and Mama had all the torches on the patio lit and Chase kept saying "Fire."
