Chase went to visit Grandma Pat today. Mama and Daddy said Chase got so excited about going for the visit that Daddy had to leave 15 minutes before he had planned to. Chase played with Thumper the bunny rabbit and Roderick the guinea pig. He also had lots of snacks, including grape juice, mini Oreos, and Angry Bird crackers. In the evening, Nanaw came to visit and to have dinner. Chase was outside in his swimming pool, and Nanaw went out to play with him. He seemed to be having a great time playing with his boats and his rubber duckies. He got out of the pool and went down the slide. Then he wanted to go on his swing. He didn’t want to go inside when it was time for dinner but Daddy convinced him to go. Mama’s pulled pork in the crockpot with barbecue sauce was delicious. Chase ate peas and blueberries – he’s such a little vegetarian. After dinner, mama, chase and Nanaw colored and played in his room with the cash register, the letters and a new Elmo toy that Mama put together.
