Chase had a couple of adventures today. After breakfast, he and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road Library. Chase played with the Dora the Explorer game on the computer, then played with the floor puzzles and the Connect 4 game. He found two Thomas books displayed on the shelves and sat down at one of the little tables to read them. After the library, Chase and Nanaw went to Bee Tree Park on the Mississippi River. Chase played on the playground for a long while and seemed to have a grand time. He cried when they left the playground and said, "Please, Nanaw, playground." Heartbreaking to say the least. Fortunately, he gets over things quickly and moves on to the next adventure. After the playground, Nanaw took him for a walk around the park, and he got to see the river up close. Of course, he said his usual "Hi river." Chase took a long nap late in the afternoon and then it was time to go home. On the drive to his house, he said "Hi cornfields" to all the cornfields on the way. Mama was having a night out with Auntie LaLa so Daddy and Chase had a father and son night. They played outside and then had dinner. Nanaw came back with a book she picked up at the library for Daddy so she got an extra hug from Chase.
