Chase and Nanaw had a major adventure today: They went to the Science Center. Before going to the Science Center, they went for a walk, then went to Waterloo Walmart where Chase rode on Dino the Dinosaur. He wouldn’t ride on the Alvin train. When they went to the Science Cetner, They parked by the Planetarium in Forest Park and entered the Science Center that way. In the Planetarium, they looked at space capsules and astronauts’ suits. On the walkway that leads to the Science Center, they saw all kinds of displays of airplanes, rocket ships, buildings, a car track, a digging area, and windows on the floor looking down onto highway 40 – that seemed to be one of Chase’s favorites. In the Science Center, there were hundreds of displays and things to look at. There were so many things to do that it was a little overwhelming for Chase and Nanaw. One thing that Chase did not want to see was the huge dinosaur that moved and growled. When he got close to it, he started to cry and Nanaw had to take him somewhere else. Many of the displays and activities were too old for Chase but he’ll be able to do them in years to come. On the way out, they went to look at the F18 fighter and an outdoor dinosaur. Chase climbed on the dinosaur’s tail and didn’t seem afraid of it at all.
