Once again, Mama kept Chase home from school because his cough was still so bad. At Nanaw's house, Chase and Nanaw played in his room in the morning and then went downstairs for awhile. They played with Chase's Tsum Tsums and with all the games in his Chinese Checkers box. Nanaw is always amazed at how creative Chase can be in finding new ways to play with his toys. Right before lunch, Chase and Nanaw went to Dollar Tree, at Chase's request. Nanaw bought him two sling slot toys and a mini wine bag (as he calls mystery toys). In the mini wine bag were two toys that resembled Tsum Tsums so Chase was very happy with them. After his nap, Nanaw took Chase home a little early, around 4 p.m., so Mama and Nanaw could go on an adventure. Chase was excited about Mama and Daddy's new king-sized bed and ran down the hall to look at it and jump on it. First, Mama and Nanaw went to the cemetery, where Mama hadn't visited for years; Nanaw showed her the river overlook and Mama really liked it. Then they went shopping at Target to get baby shower gifts for Linda's shower tomorrow. They bought a lullaby machine, some bath letters, a bath faucet cover and some receiving blankets. After Target, they went to pick up dinner at KFC -- yum, yum. When Nanaw went home, Mama, Daddy and Chase were all lying on the new bed, watching TV -- it was very cute and funny.
