Chase had a really difficult time this morning. When Nanaw came to pick him up, he didn't want to go with her. Mama had to carry him out to the car. Then when they got to Nanaw's house, he didn't want to get out of the car, and Nanaw had to carry him inside. It turns out that he didn't want to go to school because he still had his cough. Nanaw couldn't get him to eat breakfast or drink his chocolate milk. She finally asked him if he wanted gummy bears and popcorn and that seemed to do the trick. He ate gummy bears and popcorn, and he was fine to go to school -- it was like a miracle had happened, and Nanaw was very happy about that. At school, the boys and girls were glad to see him, saying, "Chase is back! Chase is back!" Chase was excited about the aquarium because there were about a dozen tiny fish in there. Chase and Nanaw played a game with a couple of little boys before Nanaw left and that was fun. After school, Nanaw took Chase to the little park. He had to go to the bathroom, and he took off all his clothes -- so Nanaw made sure the door was locked. After the park, they went to Dollar Tree where Chase got some more of the little men that stick to the wall and some pretend Tsum Tsums and trading cards.
