Chase had a busy day on Tuesday. When Mama brought him over to Nanaw's house in the morning, Mama said he had a really bad cough that started last night. Mama said he sounded like a walrus, and Nanaw agreed when she heard Chase cough. Nanaw told Mama she would take him to the doctor (at the doctor's office, you can do a walk-in visit between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., which is very handy and convenient). Chase was delighted to play with the toy table in the waiting room. The doctor said Chase has croup, which is a very deep cough, and there's no medicine you can take for it. The doctor said if Chase has any wheezing or trouble breathing, Mama or Daddy should take him in the bathroom and run the shower with hot water to create steam or use a vaporizer or humidifier. Chase was very cute with the doctor, giving him all kinds of sample coughs. The doctor said Chase was the healthiest sick patient he's seen in a long time. After the doctor's office, Nanaw took Chase to Walmart to buy him more Tsum Tsums. After lunch, Chase and Nanaw went to the Magic House. During the school year, the Magic House doesn't fully open until noon. He had a wonderful time at the Magic House, visiting many of his favorite places. He spent a long time fishing and racing the fish in the stream. He also visited the vet, the pizza place, the electricity place, the bank, the Lego race cars and the Oval office for the first time. He seemed to be getting tired so he and Nanaw left after about an hour and a half. He fell asleep on the way home.
