Nanaw got to see Chase at noon when she and Mama left for cousin Linda's baby shower; he and Daddy were outside in the back yard flying one of the kites Uncle Doug gave Chase. Then Nanaw saw Chase again at 4 p.m. when they got back from the shower; Chase had just gotten up from his night-night nap and was still sort of sleepy. Then Mama and Daddy brought Chase over to Nanaw's house for babysitting because they were going to the Stubborn German Fest in Waterloo with Theresa and Becky from the dentist's office. Chase and Nanaw went for a walk and took Taylor in the cat stroller and Chase rode his Big Wheel; they couldn't find Charlie so that's why he didn't go for the walk with them. Chase and Nanaw went downstairs and played with Chase's trains for awhile, then they came upstairs to watch Zootopia, the movie Nanaw checked out from the library for Chase. Nanaw made popcorn for Chase and piled some toys on Pawpaw's bed for him. Then Chase decided he wanted to take a bath, even though it wasn't bath night. So Nanaw gave him a bath and let him play in the tub for a long time -- he had a grand time. At a little before nine, Chase and Nanaw went back to Chase's house because Mama and Daddy said they'd be home by nine. The movie was very good, and Nanaw left it at Chase's house so he could watch it again with Mama and Daddy.
