Chase and Nanaw had a very busy day on Thursday. Their first adventure was a visit to the Train House. Miss Linda was happy to see them and thanked Nanaw for her birthday card with the two puppies on the front. Inside, it said "Happy Birthday from two of your favorite fans" -- which is very true. Chase and Nanaw played with the pretend car and the magnetic game that moves vehicles around on a board. Then Nanaw sat with Miss Linda at the craft table and made a flower wagon for Chase, while he was playing in the village. Miss Linda said they were going to sing songs, and helpful little Chase carried the musical instruments from the shelf to the blanket. Chase and Nanaw also built a train track, and he's getting very skilled at knowing how to put the track together. After the Creation Station, Chase got his popcorn and ran around with the circus train and then visited the caboose. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to the Science Center. They haven't been there for a week or two, and Chase was very happy to go there again. There were very many people there and that meant Chase could play with everything he wanted to play with without having to wait for it. He played with the air balls, and the pipe air system, the sailboats, the sand area, the smoke tube, the dinosaur dig, the dinosaurs, and all the energy displays, plus the car table and the excavator. He had a wonderful time and of course, didn't want to leave. So Nanaw promised they would come back really soon. On the way back to Nanaw's house, they stopped at Chase's house to get his basketball launcher game. Nanaw offered to go to Dollar Tree so they could buy one for her house but Chase didn't want to do that. Mama and Daddy picked Chase up at 5 p.m. to go buy a king-sized bed for Mama and Daddy. They ate dinner at White Castle and then went to Sam's to buy hamburger and hot dogs for Mama's and Daddy's Labor Day party on Sunday.
