Chase and Nanaw stayed home on Friday because of the ice storm. They did lots of playing and lots of watching TV. First, they had breakfast together at the kitchen counter; Chase had some of his Star Wars cereal. Then his bowls o banana and string cheese disappeared. Nanaw went looking for them and found empty bowls in Chase's room. The little fellow took them in his room and ate everything -- good boy! For awhile, Chase and Nanaw played in his room with his Hot Wheels garage and all the stuffed animals he brought with him from his house. Before lunch, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs to play with his toys down there. He played with the trains, the doll houses and the race tracks. He brought his stuffed animals from home downstairs with him and had Nanaw hold all of them. Nanaw fixes fish sticks, yogurt, orange juice and applesauce for Chase's lunch. He said to Nanaw, "When I finish my lunch, can I have popcorn?" And Nanaw said yes. After lunch, Chase had his popcorn and played at the kitchen counter with his slime / goo and plastic bugs. Mama came to pick Chase up because of the weather but she said the roads were fine. Nanaw forgot to take any pictures so she asked Mama to please take a picture of Chase and send it to her. She did, and she also sent a picture of granddog Sam.
