On Saturday, Nanaw waited until early afternoon to go visit Chase so that all the ice would be melted. There was quite an ice storm, with the trees and sidewalks covered with ice. When Nanaw got there, she showed Chase a video that Aunt Becky posted on Facebook of a little boy with a toy tractor that had a snow plow and a salt spreader taking care of a sidewalk, Chase really liked the video. Nanaw and Chase played in his room for awhile, then it was time for Chase to have lunch. While he waited for Mama to give him his lunch, he played with the crown and shield he made at the Magic House. For lunch, he had a lunchable -- where he made a pepperoni pizza himself. Mama put the sauce on, then Chase put on the cheese and pepperoni. He ate all of the pizza so he must really like lunchables. Daddy and Chase went to 5 o'clock mass, then Mama, Daddy and Chase went out to dinner. They tried to go to Merz on Main but it was packed so they went to Aunt Maggie's. Nanaw had looked Mama up on Life 360 and couldn't understand their route to dinner -- but now it makes sense. Chase had some fried chicken and Mama had a bite of Daddy's schnitzel. She said it was covered in mushrooms and it was good.
