 When Chase got to Nanaw's house on Monday morning, he wanted to go to his room right away to see his futon. He wanted to have breakfast, especially cereal, on the TV table Nanaw set up in front of the futon -- he's such a funny little fellow. Chase got himself dressed Monday morning at Nanaw's house, including his socks, which are the most difficult part for him. At school, for the first time, Nanaw waited while Chase was in line to sign in on the board. It takes forever because the boys and girls are very slow in writing their names on the boards and then crossing off their names in the list beside the sign-in place. Mama is going to have the day off on Friday so Nanaw told her about the signing-in process and told her to make sure that Chase doesn't lose interest and get out of line. Nanaw stopped to let Sam out on her way to pick up Chase from school so she took a picture of Sam and Tyler for Mama. When Nanaw went to pick Chase up, she drove by the little playground where the Pre-K kids go for recess. Nanaw didn't see Chase but she saw Ms. Kish so she knew Chase was out there. The boys and girls all had on their coats and hats so now Nanaw understands how all of them are in their coats when the parents and grandparents come to pick them up. Chase told Nanaw that he put his coat on by himself three times that day but was only able to zip it up by himself once. He said Ms. Merz helped him the other two times. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to Chase's room and played with Play Dough on the TV table in front of the futon.
