Chase had two adventures on Thursday: going to the Train House and going to the pediatrician for his annual check-up. In the morning, Chase, Nanaw and Tee Tee were talking, and Chase told Nanaw that Tee Tee loves her. Then he said he loves Nanaw, too. Then he said when Nanaw is sad, she should think of him, and she would be happy. What a sweet, sweet little boy he is. Chase and Nanaw went to the first session of the Creation Station and had a wonderful time playing together. They played with the puppets -- Chase was the astronaut and the pizza pie man; Nanaw was the fireman and the policeman. They also played with magnet toys and in the kitchen. Miss Linda was of course happy to see Chase and Nanaw and sorry to see them go when the session was over. When they got home, Chase took a night-night nap because he had fallen asleep on the way to the Train House. After his night-night nap, Nanaw took Chase to meet Mama and Daddy at the doctor's. Chase was incredibly good at the appointment. He weighs 43 pounds and is 43 1/2 inches tall. He passed his vision and hearing test and did well on the drawing test -- he had to draw shapes on one side of the paper and write his name and draw a picture of himself on the other side of the paper. Chase had to get four booster vaccinations and one flu shot; he was very brave and didn't cry -- he squeezed Daddy's hand to help him through it. Nanaw took Chase home to his house so that she could see his Lego hockey game that Mama and Daddy bought for him at the hockey game on Tuesday.
