When Nanaw took Chase to school on Monday, she forgot to take his boots out of the car so she had to go back to the car to get them. Chase wanted to go with Nanaw but she convinced him to let her take him to his classroom. On her way back to the car, she saw Brady and his mom, and she got her usual big Brady hug. Brady's mom hadn't brought his boots so she hoped he would still be able to go out and play. Nanaw stopped by Chase's classroom when she brought the boots back to reassure him that his boots would be in his locker. When Chase came home from school, Nanaw had printed out the lunch menu for January, and she asked Chase if he ate the sausage and scrambled eggs. He said he took the scrambled eggs but didn't eat them. He said he dumped them in the mulch for the compost. Nanaw told him that on Tuesday, when Chase wasn't at school, Brady would be having chicken noodle soup for lunch. Chase told Nanaw that one time he had alphabet soup and ate the letters -- what a cute little fellow he is. Last Monday Daddy promised Chase that he could get a new game for his table on this. Monday, and Chase talked a lot about that. When Nanaw took Chase home, he immediately told Daddy it was time to get a new game -- very funny.
