Chase's adventure on Sunday was Mama's birthday and her birthday dinner. For dinner, Chase, Mama, Daddy, Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky and Nanaw went to Joe Boccardi's to celebrate Mama's birthday. Chase played with a farm / sticker toy that Mama bought for him at Handyman Hardware. He also colored on the kiddy menu. First, Chase ate bread and butter; then he had a piece of Mama's cheese garlic bread. For dinner, he had pepperoni pizza. He was very cute at dinner, talking and telling stories. There were two little boys at the next table who tried to play with Chase but he did his shy thing. Back at Nanaw's house, Chase helped Mama open her birthday presents. Then he sang Happy Birthday to Mama with everyone else and helped Mama blow out the candles on her cherry chip birthday cake. Nanaw bought some of the candles that keep re-lighting themselves, and Chase was delighted by them. He ate cake and ice cream and seemed to enjoy them. Chase had Daddy put his Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage back together -- Chase had taken parts of it apart.
