Monday was Labor Day, the day of Chase's church and school picnic at the school. Mama worked in one of the booths with her good friend Michele, Brady's Mama. Daddy and Chase came up to the picnic when Mama was finished working. They went around playing games, and Chase went into the bounce house with Brady. Mama said that for some reason, after an hour at the picnic, Chase wanted to go home so they did. Mama was a little disappointed because she wanted to stay longer. Chase got an invitation to Henry's birthday party on September 24. It's going to be a Lego party at Henry's house so Chase will love that. Nanaw came to visit Chase in the evening. When she got there, everyone was outside. They played kickball for awhile, then came inside. Chase wouldn't eat his dinner so his Mama and Daddy told him he had to go to bed. Nanaw brought along the new pictures of cousin Mike, Mama, Daddy and Chase and put them in the picture frames she got at Walmart on her way to Chase's house. Nanaw also sewed Chase's Mario pajama shirt and the holes in the Madagascar chair. Chase fell asleep but then got up so Nanaw got to see him for awhile. Tomorrow, Chase doesn't have school so they're going to the Train House, the Magic House and Powder Valley.
