Sunday's adventure was going to Emma's birthday party at the big park by the high school in Columbia. The party was right by the playground in the covered shelter. Chase and Brady played on the playground and had a good time. Emma got lots of fun presents, including the baby doll from Nanaw and the Peppa the Pig tea party set and a stuffed Paw Patrol Chase from Chase, Mama and Daddy. Emma's mother had sub sandwiches and s friend baked a combination chocolate and yellow Peppa birthday cake. Chase and Brady played for hours on the playground, and they didn't eat much or even watch Emma opening her presents. It was a great time and everybody had a really good time celebrating Emma's second birthday. In the evening, Nanaw came over for delicious barbecued chicken wings, gluten-free buttered rolls and gluten-free gooey butter cake. After dinner, Chase and Mama made a cute birthday card for Mama's boss Ann. Then Nanaw and Chase made a fort in the kitchen with kitchen chairs, blankets and pillows. After Nanaw left to go to the cemetery, Chase and Mama colored inside the fort. Chase colored a picture with stickers for Nanaw and took it to her on Monday.
