Chase had the day off from school so that they could clean up from yesterday's school picnic. So Chase and Nanaw had a day filled with three major adventures. First, they went to the Train House, where Miss Linda was happy to see Chase and Nanaw. The weather was beautiful and cool so to Chase's delight, they went up the hill to see the cars and to climb on the trains. Chase got his popcorn, and they also visited the caboose. Next, they went to the Magic House. The Clifford room has been disassembled to make room for the Dinosaur Train room, which starts October 7. They visited the construction zone and the hockey area but spent the most time with the trains. There was a man there controlling the trains with a laptop so he ran several trains all over the place just for Chase. They went outside and even though it was cool, Chase took off his shoes and socks and waded in the water. Their final adventure was going to Powder Valley. Chase had an exceptionally good time there. He got newsletters for him and Nanaw and they did a scavenger hunt to answer the questions. They visited all of Chase's favorite places. All in all, it was a perfect day. The weather was great and there were very few people at all three places, so Chase and Nanaw mostly had the places to themselves.
