Sunday was Mama and Daddy's annual pre-Labor Day party. When Nanaw got there, most of Daddy's family was already there. Chase was out in the back yard, playing baseball with his cousin Nicholas. Nicholas was doing a great job of coaching Chase, telling him how to stand, what position to take at home plate, and most importantly, to keep his eye on the ball. It was great to watch. And it helped Chase with his hitting. He's a good hitter already but Nick's coaching helped make him even better. Chase had so much fun playing with his cousins. Part of the time, they were all in Chase's room, throwing all his stuffed animals everywhere and taking the covers and sheets off his bed. His next adventure was downstairs playing with Elias and Cesi. Cesi invented a game with Chase's grocery store checkout setup, and the three of them had a great time buying things from all around the downstairs, like books, CDs, blankets, pillows, purses, R2D2 and lots of other things. It was very cute to watch. After that, Nanaw played baseball with Chase outside and then so did Elias, Uncle Chris and Cesi. Just before Nanaw left, Daddy and Chase were playing with Chase's rocket helicopters. Chase showed Nanaw how to shoot them up high in the air -- very fun.
