When Nanaw took Chase to school on Tuesday, they saw a baby squirrel outside the church -- very cute. In class, Mrs. Hermann asked Nanaw if Chase could have a different kind of water bottle because he keeps spilling his. (Mama says he doesn't put the lid on tight enough and then if the bottle falls over, water spills.) When Nanaw picked Chase up after school, they saw two baby squirrels by the church. A crowd of boys and girls was watching them, and Nanaw took a picture. Chase got his book order, along with a darling raccoon, and he was very excited about it. When they got home, Nanaw read the books to Chase while he was sitting at he kitchen counter playing baseball with Nanaw's zoo rocks and a marble. Next, they went downstairs to play school. Nanaw was the flag holder, and Chase said the pledge of allegiance -- it was very cute of the little fellow.
