Chase went to church on Sunday morning, and then worked on his Chicago essay when he got home, like Mama said. He got it done before it was time to go to his hockey game. The hockey coach has required the boys to wear ties with collared shirts and dress pants. Mama took a picture, and Nanaw thinks Chase looks handsome in his tie. Unfortunately, the hockey game didn't go well. It was a declaration game, which means it's not part of the season but is meant to determine what teams the players should be assigned to based on their skill levels. Chase's team lost 7 to 0, and the coach said they needed a lot of improvement. But Chase said he had fun playing, and that's what's important. Nanaw came to visit in the evening, after Chase got home from the hockey game. Mama had read through his Chicago essay and made a few changes, and Nanaw did the same thing. They also read his Yelp review. He did a good job on both of them, and Mama and Nanaw made as few changes as possible so that it still sounded like Chase. He used a lot of the same words, and he didn't provide a lot of details but overall he did well on the assignment.
