When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, they called Mama but she didn't answer and they got her voice mail. So for the first time, Chase left a voice mail for her about his day. It was fun hearing him report how things went that day and what he had to eat for lunch and what he and the crew had done at lunch recess. They didn't get a call back from Mama because she had to go to the dentist to get her teeth cleaned but she sent them a text. At Nanaw's house Chase worked on his homework and studying for his Friday vocabulary test. He didn't have time to study for the Friday English sentence structure test but he promised to study tonight and to work on the sentences that the teacher had them leave blank in the study packet. For homework, he had a couple of math problems he still had to do. He'd gotten most of the problems done in class, and they'd gone over the answers in class. He had all the problems right. Nanaw did the problems, too, and he had the final problems correct also. His other homework were drafts of documents for his science fair project about Frisbees. Chase and Nanaw did a lot of studying for the Friday vocabulary test, and Nanaw asked Mama to go over the words again tonight because Chase still missed some of them. They'll do them again Friday morning. And maybe they'll have a few minutes to look at the sentence structure material -- Chase says he thinks he pretty much knows that.
